I believe 2010 is a year of great expansion for Solid Rock. This past Sunday we added two more worship experiences. We now are doing a total of seven worship experiences on Sunday with our two campuses. Wow! It was a great day! God is stretching and expanding us. Recently Pastor Sergio DeLaMora from Conerstone Church, San Diego, CA shared with Solid Rock that we should expect others to place a new demand on our faith. Therefore, I want to encourage Solid Rockers to allow God to place a new demand on you to give, serve, and pray. Get involvoed and serve in a ministry. With this many worship services you can worship in one and serve in another. This is only one way we are expanding in 2010. There is more to come. This month we are experiencing a prayer revolution as we are gathering for organized prayer. Prayer will break the backbone of Satan and change the atmosphere of our families and our community! We continue to pray daily for Haiti. Thanks Solid Rock for your giving this past Sunday towards Haiti. I will be following up with a later blog on where and how the Haiti offering will be entirely used for this project, as well as share with you other opportunities where you can give. A couple of weeks ago I was speaking by phone with Pastor Craig Groeschel of Lifechurch.tv and I was sharing with him some of the exciting things God was doing at Solid Rock. We spoke about Operation Backpack, EQUIP, Pastor Sergio De La Mora, the new Spanish service, and so much more. He was thrilled to hear the good report and I remember right before we hung up he said these words, “Steve, enjoy the ride!” That’s a perfect way to describe the last couple of months. It has been a great ride seeing what God is doing at the Rock! Pastor Sergio challenged and encouraged Solid Rock to go to the next level! It’s happening! We have been at Del Mar the last couple of Sundays and this Sunday we will be going back to the Ayers campus. It’s looking great! Understand that the changes are to prepare Solid Rock for the next 5-10 years of ministry. We’re not going back, we’re moving forward! Keep in mind that these changes are to reach the next generation! Get ready as a next generation church to see things you have never seen before! Remember, we received a prophetic word that in God’s agenda Solid Rock is next! Favor, blessing, increase, and multiplication are coming! Step up and be a next generation leader as we go into our next season of ministry! Rejoice, you are next! Enjoy the ride!
