If you and I want to experience a life of victory that God intends for us we must be convinced that "God is for us". Religion has made people feel like God is mad at them or disappointed with them. Years ago, I realized however, that God is for me. He believes in me. Yes, I believe in Him. I have believed in Him all my life. But I finally realized that God also believes in me. This is not some humanistic, new age philosophy idea that I am equal to God or a god. I was a sinner in need of a Savior. Jesus believed in me enough by going to the cross for my sin. I accepted His love and forgiveness. He believed in me. Simply as God's creation, and as His child, He believes in me! He created me with potential to excel and glorify Him. Therefore, I have this phrase that I repeatedly say, "Believe in a God who believes in you!" That changed my life. Will you accept the fact that God is for you? God is not a thief to rob you of joy. He is not a kill joy. God is not a cop with a radar gun looking for you to make a wrong move. No, He is for you. He wants you to succeed, to excel, to be blessed. No one can stop you but you. See yourself as God sees you. You have potential, creativity, and the power to succeed.
